Donal Barbee
Broker Donal grew up in Maysville, NC and is married to Lottie Dixion of New Bern. Donal and Lottie have two children; Lee & Gina, who reside in Morehead City. Donal was employed by Belk Stores for many years and has lived and worked in New Bern, Havelock, Morehead City, Clinton, (all in NC), also Hilton Head Island, SC. Bob Upchurch
Broker,GRI Bob graduated from NC State University in 1964, with a BS in math education and was commissioned a Regular Army 2nd Lieutenant. During his 30 plus years of service, he obtained two masters degrees, traveled to 27 countries, had 24 mailing addresses, and retired in Jan 1995. Whew! Broker Charles W. Dressel, better known as Pete, was born and grew up in Baltimore, MD but lived in Richmond, VA for 30 years. He lives with his wife, Pat, and their golden retriever, Pippen, in Brandywine Bay. They met while attending the University of Maryland and were married in 1956 after Pete returned from Korea where he served with the 25th Division. Pete is especially proud of their two children, Bethanne, who lives with her family in Steamboat Springs, CO, and Matt, who lives in Hampstead, NC.Their only grandchild, Mary Rachel, is presently training with the US Ski Team and is an accomplished scholar/athlete. After high school, I went to Kings Business College in Raleigh, NC where I studied accounting. My accounting career began in Raleigh at Winn Dixie. I moved several times with Winn Dixie (Jacksonville FL, New Orleans LA, Fort Worth TX, Greenville SC, and Charlotte NC). While in New Orleans, I received my associate degree in accounting at Loyola University. I am a veteran of the Vietnam War. I retired from Winn Dixie after 30 years as Charlotte Division Controller. I served on the board of directors for Arrowood Industrial Park and was elected the ABWA Boss of the year 1978-79. While in Charlotte, we enjoyed going to see the Charlotte Hornets play basketball. We moved back to Carteret County in 1990. My wife, Jane and I are members of the Core Sound Decoy Carvers Guild, Core Sound Waterfowl Museum and the History Place in Morehead City. My grandson and I are avid fishermen and ride ATVs in the NC, VA, WVA and Vermont mountains. Jane and I are involved in our church work including Chairman of the Trustee Committee and Financial Committee.
