Buyer Agent Representation
North Carolina Real Estate guidelines require that a licensed agent discuss and disclose the Agency Relationship with regards to any transaction. You have the option of working with one of our agents as an agent or sub-agent of the seller, OR working for you, the buyer, as a Buyer's Agent, which could result in a Dual Agency Relationship. Not all buyers need or hire a buyer's agent. However, we do provide Buyer Agency services for our customers and recommend you discuss this with your agent in detail while considering the general information below. Other than the obvious difference of who is represented, there are some technical differences with regards to confidential information and property value that distinguish a Seller's agent working with the buyer between a Buyer's Agent working for the buyer.
There is no such thing as a Free Lunch, and... with a "FREE" Buyer Agency you may get what you pay for!
The Agent you employ to be your Buyer's Agent Should:
- Disclose their Training and Experience as a Buyer's Agent.
- Verify all Property Information before making The Offer.
- Provide Financial Information and Qualifying before Making the Offer.
- Provide Valuation Information before Making the Offer.
